BB&T Ballpark Stadium, Charlotte, NC

The BB&T Ballpark Stadium is bringing triple-A baseball to uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. HDG was specified on the stair railings, the infield fencing, the stadium walkways and the section boundaries.

Durham Bulls Athletic Park Stadium, Durham, NC

Construction for additional seating, added concessions stands and overall infrastructure to the stadium took place in 2014.

 

Charlotte Douglas International Airport Hourly Parking And Rental Car Deck, Charlotte, NC

2015 AGA Excellence Award Winner. "The galvanized bow-string trusses surrounding the building create a graceful arch on the exterior surface of the concrete structure and the perforated stainless skin eliminates the need for fans and ductwork. The combination of galvanizing and stainless steel will guarantee decades of corrosion free service life for the city without maintenance, while maintaining the architects vision."

 

 

Dominion Virginia Power Station, Brunswick County, VA

Charlotte Motor Speedway — Concord, NC

Galvan Industries galvanized all 250 tons of structural steel used in the the steel frame that will support the world’s largest high-definition video board at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The design consists of six vertical trusses that stand 135 feet tall. Horizontal beams, platforms and diagonal bracing add support so the screen can withstand gusts up to 100 miles per hour. The Largest Greenhouse in the US

Hot Dip Galvanizing has been specified for two previous, but smaller parking decks at Charlotte/Douglas Airport and the architect selected the coating again for continuity and previous experience with galvanized steel.

Hot Dip Galvanizing will provide decades of maintenance free service for all exposed steel of the building facia. Galvanizing provides excellent compatibility with the stainless steel panels covering the distinctive bow-string trusses.

Galvanizing gives the structure a distinctly industrial, but aesthetically pleasing overall appearance when compared with ordinary concrete structures.

Galvan Wins AGA Award for Charlotte-Douglas International Airport Project

Galvan Industries' 300-ton contribution to Charlotte-Douglas International Airport garage earns a 2006 AGA Galvanizing Excellence Award.

A one-of-a-kind pedestrian bridge, using hot-dip galvanized steel reinforcements supplied by Galvan Industries, wins award from the American Galvanizers Association (AGA).

The new $4.5 million Liberty Bridge in Greenville, SC, is the first structure of its kind in the U.S. that is both curved and cantilevered. With its 90-foot-high suspension towers that lean 15 degrees away from the walking deck, the 330-foot-long bridge seemingly floats above surrounding landscape. Goshen Bridge Project
